A combination of experience and sensitivity has taught us that the first step to resolving the complex issues surrounding employment is to understand what keeps people out of work, and then to address this directly.
Triangle has an extensive portfolio of programme models designed to tackle all aspects of Worklessness, Skills, Employment and Redundancy in a constructive and practical way. For example, by taking a holistic approach to the local business community we also ensure solutions are long term and sustainable, contributing to robust economic development wherever possible.
It is widely recognised that Worklessness and unemployment is a major problem in key locations of the UK and Triangle has specific first hand experience working to provide positive and effective change in some of the most deprived areas.
Our work in practice looks to:
- Increase overall levels of employment by working strategically with local employers and support groups
- Match individuals seeking work with the jobs available and address skills gaps where necessary
- Help the long term unemployed find the skills and confidence they need to move into work
- Work with disadvantaged/minority groups, removing the barriers to enable them to find employment
- Enabling businesses to thrive by providing support in appropriate areas eg workforce development
- Provide effective pre and post redundancy support to employers and individuals
