Within an 11 month period the project assisted and supported the development of high quality provision for 110 Recognised Investors in People (IiP) SMEs, working in partnership to strengthen and add value to SME support mechanisms in Central London. The provision enabled the members of the SME network to maintain their IiP status and standards and facilitate successful post-recognition Reviews and assessment against the new IiP Models and IiP Profile.
This included
- 1:1 and group meetings held
- Design and delivery of bespoke management development sessions in-house (management essentials, company-wide quality improvement and customer service strategy)
- Development of clearer role/person specifications
- Mentoring with Owner/managers
- Advice with recruitment and retention issues
SME organisations reported a number of hard and soft outcomes from participation which included lower staff turnover, higher staff morale and commitment, enhanced performance management of managers and staff and resolution of systemic procedural bottlenecks resulting in more effective client service. |
