Passport to Work London

Passport to Work is a new project supporting employment amongst young people in London. Funded by the ESF (European Social Fund) through the LDA (London Development Agency) Passport to Work aims to find sustainable employment, or educational opportunities for 1000 young people who are Not in Employment formal Education or Training (‘NEETs’).

Our partners
The Passport to Work project is managed through a collaboration of key organisations including:

Eden College – A vocational college based in Romford, East London
Pecan - A charity that helps transform the lives of disadvantaged people through various training and motivational projects
Shape – A disability-led arts organisation working to improve access to culture for disabled people.

How it works
Our Passport to Work Advisers work hard with employers throughout London to find out their needs and to match them with a suitable employee. The individuals they take on can find it a life changing experience. They’ll receive special support and guidance towards appropriate training and to help them in their new place of work. Employers receive plenty of support too!

Benefits for your business
Finding the right staff for your company can be an expensive and painstaking process. Passport to Work can help you by:

  • Taking the hassle out of recruitment
  • Keeping employment costs down
  • Supporting employees, giving you a more reliable workforce

It’s also highly recommended to businesses keen to demonstrate a commitment to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). It can boost your profile and increase your customer numbers because you’ll be better perceived by actively supporting young persons, local employment and the community.
